A murder case is unfolding before Magistrate Briama Samura at Pademba Road Court No. 8, where Mohamed Jabity, 38, an accountant and engineer from Kaingo, Lumley, and 24-year-old Samuel Mossima face charges of conspiracy to commit murder.

Prosecutors allege that on Sunday, 21 September 2025, the two men conspired with unknown individuals at Engine, Kaingo, Lumley, to commit murder.

They also face a second count of murder under Section 1 of the Offences Against the Person Act and the Death Penalty Act 2021 (Act No. 6 of 2022), with Kelly Kamara named as the victim.

The prosecution team, led by ASP Ibrahim, appeared alongside P.T. Koroma and Juliana Jusu, while the defence comprises D. Kaindeh, P. Koroma, M. Massaquoi, and A. Samba.

The matter was adjourned after the defence indicated it would file an application. Prosecutors said they had requested a two-week notice from Officer Moses Ferenkeh, who was absent during Monday’s proceedings.

Magistrate Samura subsequently adjourned the case to 26 November 2025 for committal, granting the defence time to apply for two witnesses to testify and be cross-examined before the committal hearing.
