A three-month agricultural mechanization training program for youths from Pujehun District commenced on Monday, January 27, 2025, in Port Loko.
The initiative, facilitated by FM Investment, aims to equip participants with the skills needed to operate modern farming machinery.
The training covers the operation of tractors, power tillers, combine harvesters, and drones—essential equipment for mechanized farming.
With a shortage of skilled operators in the Ministry of Agriculture’s mechanization sector, this program seeks to bridge the gap and enhance agricultural productivity in the country.
