Speaking as a Distinguished Guest at the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The Lawyer’s Society, Mayor Aki-Sawyerr highlighted the legal profession’s responsibility in defending democracy, justice, and the nation’s motto—Unity, Freedom, and Justice.
Addressing the gathering, she encouraged the legal fraternity to stand firm in protecting the rule of law and ensuring the rights of citizens are safeguarded.
