On Sunday, October 15, 2023, Mr. Amara Lebbie, a Senior Technical Advisor at the HIV AIDS SECRETARIAT of the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, reported an alleged vehicle theft.

According to Mr. Lebbie, he parked a Ministry of Health and Sanitation White Toyota Land Cruiser with the registration number AGH 268 near his sub-office located on Kingharman Road, Freetown, at approximately 09:30 AM. However, upon returning to the location, he found that the vehicle had gone missing.

The alleged vehicle theft has raised concerns and questions within the Ministry of Health and Sanitation and the community at large. It is unclear how the vehicle was stolen, and whether it was targeted specifically because it was a government vehicle.

The Ministry of Health and Sanitation is urging anyone with information about the stolen vehicle to contact them or the SLP immediately.
