The Haja Amy Charity, one of Sierra Leone’s well-known charity groups has given food supplies to the less privileged people in the Brima Lane neighborhood east of Freetown.

The gift is a component of the organization’s ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of the less fortunate people in that region of the nation.

The foundation was created from a WhatsApp group, according to the program’s chairman, Mohamed Charlie Mahoi, who also noted that Brima Lane residents and others profited from the Chief Executive Officer of the organization’s affection and interest.

He claimed that the CEO is a lady who has toiled and still toils to ensure that the less fortunate are given the opportunity to succeed.

Mahoi remarked to the enormous group of recipients that it takes a godly, intelligent woman to spend millions of old leones on people. He also discussed the CEO’s admirable goals to assist society’s weaker men and women.

Mr. Mahoi also told the crowd that the Haja Amy Charity organization would soon start granting microcredit with the goal of strengthening the weaker members of society.

Musa Turay, the CEO’s husband, stated in his statement that the Haja Amy Charity Foundation was founded in a terrible situation and environment years ago and added that the donation is a part of the CEO’s initiative to assist the underprivileged in society.

He added that, the organization, is a non-profit philanthropic organization whose main goal is to relieve the suffering of the less-privileged  who cannot afford to provide for themselves.

The CEO and partners delivered 50 sacks of rice and condiments for the less-privileged members of society, particularly the disabled, as part of their commitment to supplement the government’s efforts to aid the underprivileged in Sierra Leone, according to Turay.

He added that more than 700 recipients would receive the 50 sacks of rice, onions, cooking oil, and other culinary supplies to help lessen their suffering in the areas to the east of Freetown.

Turay pledged to continue helping those who are less fortunate in all communities across the nation.

Speaking to one of the charity’s beneficiaries,
a blind man by the name of Momoh Conteh, aka Orconteh, he expressed his gratitude to the Haja Amy Charity organization for the assistance given to them, adding that this was the first time for such a group to give to the underprivileged, whose numbers are high in the east of Freetown.

Momoh Conteh continued that though there are a lot of people who have money than the Haja Amy Charity organisation in the country, but they lack the spirit of helping, adding that the Haja Amy Charity organisation is full of people with godly hearts. He promised to always offer prayers for the organisation to thrive and do more for the needy.

A community youth, Abubakarr Sesay praised the Haja Amy Charity organisation for their support to the destitute and urged Sierra Leoneans to emulate their example. He prayed for the CEO to have more resources and do more for the vulnerable.

In his contributions, Raymond Bai-Gbankapotho expressed his gratitude to everyone who helped make the donation a success. He also added that the people of Sierra Leone are impoverished and urged everyone to take care of the nation’s most vulnerable citizens.
