High Court Judge Augustine K. Musa has sentenced notorious armed robber Foday Fallah to four years in prison after finding him guilty of housebreaking and larceny. The verdict was delivered at the Pademba Road Court in Freetown.

Fallah was convicted for unlawfully entering a private residence with the intent to commit theft. During the proceedings, Lawyer Cecilia Tucker from the Legal Aid Board made a plea for mitigation, arguing that Fallah is a young man with a bright future. She urged the judge to consider leniency, noting that the convict did not waste the court’s time by pleading guilty to the offense.

In delivering his judgment, Justice Musa acknowledged that Fallah’s guilty plea expedited the process. However, he emphasized the seriousness of the crime and ultimately sentenced Fallah to four years in prison, which includes the nine months he has already spent in custody.
