A man believed to be a local bee keeper has been reportedly found dead in a bush in Bafodia Chiefdom, Koinadugu District, after leaving home earlier in the day to harvest honey.
According to a source, the incident occurred in the morning hours of Saturday, March 21, 2026. The man had informed his wife that he was going into the bush to harvest honey but did not return as expected, raising concern among family members.
The source stated that a search effort was later organized to locate him. During the search, his lifeless body was discovered near a large tree in the bush. The circumstances surrounding his death were not immediately clear at the time of reporting.
Family members and community residents were said to be shocked by the development, as the man had set out for what appeared to be a routine activity.
