Inspector General of Sierra Leone Police (IGP), William Fayia Sellu has donated essential medical drugs and consumables to the Bo Police Hospital Center.

The donation, made on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, underscores IGP Sellu’s commitment to improving the welfare of police officers and their families, as well as members of the surrounding community who also use the facility.

The supplies included anti-malaria drugs, analgesics, antibiotics, syrups, ulcer medication, dressing materials, consumables, and intravenous fluids.

A delegation from SLP Medical Services, led by Deputy Director and Medical Superintendent Dr. John M. Konteh, delivered the supplies from Freetown to Bo. Dr. Konteh explained the importance of the donated medications in addressing common health issues.

Regional Police Commander South, AIG Brima Kanneh, expressed his gratitude for IGP Sellu’s initiative, noting that it will improve officers’ health, morale, and productivity.

Receiving the medical supplies on behalf of the hospital, Sergeant 12043 Jacob Sundufu Mambu Musa, the officer in charge, assured that the drugs would be utilized for their intended purpose, ensuring efficient healthcare support for officers and beneficiaries.
