A young man, identified as a thief, was discovered in a gutter at the Freetown Bus Station, struggling for life after reportedly being injected with a corrosive substance, described by witnesses as raw acid.
According to observers, the young man was allegedly caught in the act of stealing, which led to a violent confrontation with a group of unknown individuals.
Report claimed that those individuals manhandled him before administering the acid, leaving him in severe pain and unable to seek help.
Bystanders gathered around the scene, expressing shock and dismay at the brutality of the attack. Many described the situation as “inhuman” and “barbaric,” lamenting the young man’s suffering as he struggled for breath in the gutter.
Despite the alarming nature of the incident, authorities had not yet arrived at the scene as of the time of reporting. The identity of the young man remains unknown, and there has been no official statement from law enforcement or emergency services regarding the event.
Though it’s painful but some of these guys they don’t want to hustle hard instead they prefer to eat from others labour without there conscience in Haram way , so I believe this is the best way of treating them to stop 🛑 or minimize stealing.
I don’t support stealing but this is very bad to treat a fellow human being like that, when some of the real thieves are sitting in our government houses, wearing suits and ties and stealing from the nation day and night. They’re not just stealing from us today but even from the generation yet to come. Yet, when it’s time for election, we go out and choose them again to continue to steal from us.
God have mercy on us all….
Tiff man nor warm u 8 na mek u d tok so
I don’t consider this a pathetic scene because these same guys move around during night to attack people for their personal gain. Yesterday, at around 2am, thieves attacked our community and inflicted a serious wound to one of our neighbour. He sustained serious damage as a result of that attack and no one is dare to say a word. As far as i am concern, there should not be any room for thefts if we want to get a peaceful existence.
