On Wednesday 2 April, 2025 the Chief Superintendent of Police Foday Sesay and his team launched an impactful school sensitization program at the University Secondary School (Njala) the visit was focused on raising awareness on critical issues like community policing, drug abuse, gang-related violence, teenage pregnancy, and crime prevention measures.
The session was energized by CSP Sesay’s proactive policing philosophy, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in maintaining security. He highlighted various initiatives aimed at involving stakeholders in addressing issues that threaten public safety within the district.
The visit was warmly received by both the school administration and students, who participated actively in the discussions. The sensitization concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, allowing students to voice their concerns and seek further information.
CSP Sesay expressed his commitment to continue these outreach efforts, promising to visit more schools across Moyamba district to further promote awareness and collaboration in addressing societal challenges.
