The DAQVAH Charity Foundation has donated bags of rice, bundles of water and cash to 15 households in Rosarr Village, Maconteh Chiefdom.

The donation will benefit 49 Muslims primarily widows.

The donation has marked a second phase after the Islamic organisation donated backpacks containing school bags, books and pens to pupils in the same village.

The Project Officer of the organisation, Hawa Conteh told the beneficiaries that the donation was done in order to give support to vulnerable Muslims in order for them to be able to observe the Ramadan.

She informed that DAQVAH has been supporting the village and its surroundings in the District with food, wells, clothing and learning materials for pupils.

One of the widow beneficiaries, Posseh Kamara expressed her appreciation for the donation and added that the whole community appreciated the gift.
