FC Kallon And Waterloo Community Midfielder Passes Away

The death is reported of Alie N. B. Sesay, fondly known as Neymar Baros, which occurred on the morning hours of Tuesday, January 6 2026.

The deceased was hospitalised at the Connaught Hospital for about a month, battling with a serious illness before he met his death.

Baros was a talented, humble, and loyal player who was deeply loved by teammates, fans, and the entire Sierra Leone football community. His passion for the game inspired many.

Baros built a strong reputation through his impressive displays for the Waterloo Community team in the COFA League and for the Bassatown community in the Le120 million Inter-Community League, which later earned him a move to top-flight club FC Kallon, where he is regarded as one of the club’s promising prospects.
