The former Principal of St. Edwards Secondary School, Mr Wilmot Johnson – Cole has passed away in the early hours of today at Connaught Hospital in Freetown.

Mr Wilmot is someone that is said to believe so much in the abilities of his students. He is described as a soft and discipline person.

When the single shift system was introduced at St. Edwards, Mr Wilmot was one of the pioneers of 50 pupils per class system which was successfully adopted. This system reduced the congestion of pupils in class.
