Sierra Leonean music artist, Rahim Sahid, popularly known as Rahimo, has alleged that Kao Denero, accompanied by his team, attacked and pointed a gun at him in the night hours of Sunday, 13th April, 2025.
Rahimo admitted that he could have lost his life, alleging that the bike rider, whom he hired for transportation, was beaten into stewpot, and was also pepper sprayed.
“Last night, something very terrible happened to me. Kao Denero and his team pulled up on me and attacked me. I was just minding my business when they came at me. The bike man I hired was beaten badly, his team even pepper sprayed him,” Rahimo allegedly firmly.
He continued, “things got even scarier when Kao Denero himself pulled out a gun and threatened me. At that moment, I really feared for my life. I didn’t know what was going to happen next.”
As tension grows, Rahimo said he fled the scene and ran into some guys around Lumley, whom he said, ended up helping him from the scary attack. “If they hadn’t stepped in, I don’t know where I would be right now. I could have been badly hurt, or worse,” he asserted.
The popular artist stressed that the concern is not just about him, but for everyone else, admitting that if someone like Kao Denero, who is to replicate his office as an ambassador of entertainment, is launching such an attack, then, he said they are not safe.
Rahimo concluded by calling on the government to promptly respond to the said situation before it gets out of hand, thus calling on the attention of the Chief Minister of Sierra Leone, Dr. Moinina David Sengeh, the godfather of Entertainment in Sierra Leone, Jimmy Bangura, and a popular artist, Nasser F Ayoub.
When thy give them a pawor ,they are there missusing it ,as entertaiment ambassador is that how you can behavior .
This kind of situation, as alleged by the complainant, should not be what we expect from an official of such calibre in our state. However, we don’t know the initial rancour that degenerated to such degree. We hope authorities concern should promptly come in to address this ugly development in our entertainment industry.
