A man reportedly died while traveling in a public transport vehicle on his way back to his village, shortly after being released from prison.
The incident happened at the Conex petrol station near Total on Old Road. Passengers in the vehicle said the man began feeling unwell during the journey. The driver stopped at the station, and the man was laid down after his condition worsened. He died there a short time later.
Eyewitnesses in the vehicle said the man had been talking to another passenger and mentioned that during his time in prison, he struggled to use the toilet and was unable to urinate properly. He had no mobile phone or ID card with him at the time of his death.
