Freetown High Court has reportedly convicted one Francis Caulker of Faith Healing Bible Church, Devil Hole, in Freetown for sexually penetrating a 16-year-old minor, who is also a member of the same church.

As reported by Politico Newspaper, the Justice, Adrian Fisher in Freetown reserved sentencing of the 19-year-old for Friday November 21, 2025.

Following his judgement, Justice Fisher cited the victim’s testimony that the convict formed a relationship with her while in church and that the convict did have sex with her in an unfinished building and that in fact, they had sex on several occasions.

The judge said even though the convict denied the allegation, but “having looked at the evidence with the required standard, I have no reason to disbelieve what the victim said.”

Justice Fisher further cited parts of the testimony of the victim’s mother who said that the victim normally attended Wednesday evening service and that on a particular day, the victim returned home late.

She also told the court that after threatening to examine the victim whether she had started having sexual intercourse, she confessed that the convict had sex with her in an unfinished building after church.

Lawyer Christopher Cole is the state prosecutor while Legal Aid Board Lawyer Randy S. Bangura represented the convict.
