Dr Baimba Idriss is calling for help after accusing his superior, the Commanding Officer of the Joint Medical Unit of the Sierra Leone Army, Dr Stephen Sevalie of injustice at 34 Military Hospital in Wilberforce, Freetown.

Dr Idriss said he has been a victim of injustice from his colleagues for several years now and that their commanders have failed to act on his series of complaints.

“I have been to the JFC (Joint Force Command) and the CDS (Chief of Defence Staff) twice in two years but they didn’t do anything,” he said. He added that the commanders turned into a laughing stock.

He added that he was recently locked up for 11 days without a just cause.

“Imagine as an officer 11 days locked up without killing or stealing,” he noted.

According to Dr Idriss, the lockup was a consequence of a beef between him and a fellow doctor and superior officer, Col. Dr Stephen Sevalie.

Expressing his dissatisfaction over the issue on Facebook, the aggrieved doctor said he has been suppressing his anger for four years and that he has reached his tipping point over the issue.
