The Sierra Leone Parliament has approved Mr. Ibrahim Jalloh as the new Resident Minister North.

The approval was met with resounding applause from both ruling government and opposition parliamentarians, as well as paramount chiefs present at the session.

The Leader of Government Business, Hon. Mathew Nyuma, formally introduced Mr. Jalloh at the Wall of Parliament, marking the beginning of his tenure in this key regional position.

Speaking after his approval, Mr. Jalloh expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him and reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding and advancing the interests of his party and the people of the Northern region. He pledged to work diligently to address the needs and aspirations of the communities under his jurisdiction.

His role as Resident Minister North will involve coordinating government initiatives, fostering development, and addressing regional concerns.
