A former ward coordinator and a pastor have been prosecuted at Pademba Road Court No. 1 for allegedly concealing treason.
Mohamed Sanu ,age 59, and Pastor Kelly Marrah, age 53, are accused of failing to report treason committed by Daniel Keleh Mansaray, also known as Ceaser, and others between November 26, 2023, and July 26, 2025, in Freetown.
Magistrate Mustapha Braima Jah read and explained the charges to the defendants, who did not enter a plea. State Counsel Yusuf Isaac Sesay, Esq., said he would submit the consent of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice and requested a short adjournment.
Bail was denied, and the accused were remanded to the male correctional facility in Freetown. The case is set for further hearing on September 29, 2025.
