Police officers stationed at the Moala security checkpoint in Kenema arrested Massaquoi Sesay on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024.

Sesay, a resident of Dambala village in the Nomo Chiefdom, was found in possession of nine (9) shotgun cartridges.

The cartridges were seized as evidence, and Sesay is currently in police custody. The Kenema Police Station is conducting further investigations into this incident.

Authorities are withholding further comment until the investigation progresses.
