In a proactive move against drug trafficking in Freetown, the Operations Team of the Harbour Police Division conducted raids early on Sunday morning, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of a significant amount of Kush drugs.

The first raid targeted the residence of 18-year-old Amadu Lawrence Williams located at 19 Savage Square, Freetown. Williams was found in possession of 97 wraps of Kush, a potent strain of cannabis. Following this operation, the team swiftly moved to another location in the east end of Freetown, targeting the premises of 48-year-old Ibrahim Sillah, also known as Sukar, of Lowcost Street. Sillah was apprehended with 52 wraps of Kush.

Both suspects were taken into custody along with the seized exhibits and are currently being held for further investigation. The Harbour Police Division emphasized their commitment to curbing drug-related activities in the area.

LUC Kpulun, the leading figure of the Harbour Police Division, expressed his unwavering dedication to eradicating drug trafficking in Freetown. “My area of responsibility is not a safe haven for drug dealers,” stated LUC Kpulun.
