On July 22, 2024, in Pademba Road Court No.1, Freetown, police presented key evidence against three notorious individuals, Chernor Jalloh, 28, a plumber known as Fullah Boy; Gibrilla Kamara, 20, also known as Wizzy; and Saidu Governor Kargbo, 62, a businessman.

The trio faces multiple charges including conspiracy, three counts of robbery with aggravation, causing grievous bodily harm, wounding, assault, and receiving stolen goods.

The charges stem from a violent robbery on March 25, 2024, at No. 84 Maraya Street, Bathurst Village. The accused are alleged to have used a short gun and machetes to commit the crime, which resulted in severe injuries to several victims.

Inspector Kadie M. Taylor, representing the prosecution, presented Sub Inspector Kalie Saidu Kamara as a key witness. Kamara, an exhibit clerk at Lumley Police Station, detailed the evidence collected from the crime scene, including a shotgun, cartridges, several mobile phones, a gold chain, rings, laptops, and other items. This evidence, cataloged under serial number 16/2024, was formally submitted to the court.

The accused were subjected to cross-examination during the hearing. Magistrate Sahr Kekura denied bail to Jalloh and Kamara, while Kargbo’s bail status remains under review. The court has adjourned the case to August 5, 2024, for further proceedings.
