A viral video circulating on social media has sparked controversy after allegedly showing a police officer caught in a compromising situation with a married woman in Calaba Town.
The aggrieved husband, who reported the incident to media outlet Born to Blog, claimed he had suspected his wife of infidelity for three months before discovering her with the officer. According to him, the officer fled the scene, leaving behind condoms, boxers, a computer, and a vehicle identified as belonging to the Sierra Leone Police.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Abdul Moijueh, Director of Traffic Management, has denied personal involvement in the incident. In a public statement, AIG Moijueh confirmed ownership of the vehicle but insisted he was not present during the alleged encounter.
He also refuted social media rumors linking him directly to the abandoned vehicle, adding further confusion to the case.
Authorities have yet to confirm the identity of the officer involved or whether an official investigation has been launched.
No further statements have been released by the Sierra Leone Police regarding the matter.
