The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at the Pujehun Police Divisional Headquarter is currently investigating a case of wounding with intent.

According to the Community Relation and Information Officer at the Pujehun Police Division, Assistant Superintendent of Police John Kenawa Squire, on Saturday 7/01/2023 at 0250 hours Mohamed Jaward and Dauda Kamara of Grima and Lorto villages respectively in the Kpaka Chiefdom, Pujehun District accompanied one Mustapha Rogers of Grima village and reported that on the same date at about 0200 hours along Sawula village road, Pujehun District, one Mustapha Fortune alias Ice Bombo of Manjama kayimba village and others unknown physically assaulted Mustapha Rogers, sustaining multiple injuries on his neck, right hand, ankle and general body pains but he is currently responding to treatment at government hospital in Pujehun.

All the alleged perpetrators went on the run leaving the victim bleeding and in a critical condition, but according to the community relations and information officer, on Monday 9/1/2023 at about 0450 hours upon information received from community members that suspect Mustapha Fortune alias Ice Bombo of Manjama kayimba village was arrested and brought in as prime suspect in respect of the matter.

He is presently helping the police with the investigation.
