Prominent Sierra Leonean multimedia content producer and social media influencer, Vickie Remoe has blasted President Julius Maada Bio for supporting Jooel after Boss LA was sent to prison.

She stated on her Twitter page that a day after Boss La was sentenced to nine years imprisonment, President Bio is throwing his support to another musician.

She stressed that the duration of the twin actions was too close for someone to fully comprehend and come into conclusion.

Remoe maintained that the president should have waited a bit until the case momentum eases, adding that the gas-lighting tweet will not change the injustice against Boss LA.

On Friday, 17 March 2023, Boss La was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment after being found guilty of all charges levied against him. After the sentencing, many Sierra Leoneans took to social media to condemn the verdict of High Court judge, Justice Adrian Fisher.
