The Police in Sierra Leone have recorded over 63,000 police cases all over the country for 2020/2021.
This was according to a statement issued by the Director of Corporate Affairs of the Sierra Leone Police AIG, Memunatu Conteh-Jalloh.
According to her Western Area, crime statistics carry the highest crime rate in the country.
Of all the 63,000 cases recorded 265 cases were for murder, 12,000 were from the Family Support Unit for crimes ranging from domestic violence, rape, to sexual penetration.
