The Ministry of Communication, Technology, and Innovation has revealed the selected Sierra Leonean startups for the 2025 West African Startup World Cup Regional Semi-Finals, set to take place for the very first time in Sierra Leone.

15 Sierra Leonean startups have been chosen to compete alongside 15 other West African startups in the 2025 West African Startup World Cup Regional Semi-Finals, which will be held on April 11, 2025, in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

This event will be a significant moment for Sierra Leone as it will be hosting the competition for the first time. The West African Startup World Cup offers a global final with a $1 million prize, providing startups with a remarkable opportunity to showcase their innovations and secure critical funding to fuel their growth.
