The Kenema Police Division has launched a series of anti-drug operations, arresting six major suspects and demolishing several makeshift drug dens.
Under the leadership of Local Unit Commander Chief Superintendent Bob Musa N. Mansaray and Assistant Inspector General Francis Brima Meinday, the police conducted coordinated raids on October 31st and November 3rd, 2025, targeting the sale, trafficking, and abuse of Kush, Tramadol, and Cannabis Sativa.
The suspects, including Fewah Koroma, Josiah Peters, and Prince Musa, among others, were found with substantial quantities of illicit substances and are currently in police custody. The police also demolished several makeshift drug dens, sending a strong message to dealers.

“We are moving hard and fast against anyone engaged in the sale or abuse of drugs,” LUC Mansaray emphasized. “Our campaign aligns with President Bio’s national mandate to eradicate the Kush epidemic and related crimes.”
AIG Meinday praised the Kenema Police Division for their efforts, stating, “This crackdown is a clear signal that drug trafficking and lawlessness will not be tolerated in the Eastern Region.”
The police urge residents to provide timely intelligence and discourage youths from engaging in drug-related activities. “Drug dealers will find no hiding place in Kenema,” LUC Mansaray warned. “We are enforcing the law to protect our young people and our future.”

Thank you to the forces, but I hope it will not only focus on the poor people. Because all the past checking was only for the poor dealers.
