Sierra Leone Police in Kamakwie have arrested a teenager identified as Alie Fofana, who is allegedly connected to a series of motorbike thefts across the region.
The suspect was apprehended in Laminaya, a village in Loko Chiefdom, after an extended investigation led by Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers from the Kamakwie Police Division.
According to police reports, Fofana hails from a town located along the Kabala Makeni highway and is believed to be part of a network involved in hijacking and stealing motorbikes, particularly from parks, stores, and other public or commercial areas.

The said motorbike reportedly belonged to a friend of a businessman who had been the victim of a midnight robbery in Kamakwie several months ago.
