The Traffic Management Team (TMT) of Pujehun Division, comprising the Sierra Leone Police (SLP) Traffic Branch and the Road Safety Corps of the Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority (SLRSA), has paid a courtesy visit to the newly transferred Local Unit Commander (LUC), Superintendent Alhaji Mustapha Senesie.

The visit, held on Thursday, aimed to officially welcome the new LUC and reaffirm the spirit of cooperation between the SLP and SLRSA in ensuring effective traffic management in the district.

Delivering the opening remarks, Divisional Traffic Officer (DTO) Mr. Lawrence Sao Taylor extended a warm welcome to Superintendent Senesie. He highlighted the strong and peaceful working relationship that has existed between the SLP Traffic Branch and the Road Safety Corps in Pujehun. Mr. Taylor emphasized that there have been no major issues reported between personnel at various duty points, a testament to the smooth collaboration between the two entities.

Also speaking at the event was Mr. Alfred Senesie, Head of Station for the SLRSA in Pujehun. He echoed similar sentiments, reaffirming the commitment of his team to work hand-in-hand with the Sierra Leone Police. Mr. Senesie assured both the LUC and the DTO of the SLRSA’s dedication to teamwork and coordination. He further informed the LUC about current developments at the SLRSA office in the district, noting that the station is expected to commence full operations in the near future.

In his response, Superintendent Alhaji Mustapha Senesie expressed appreciation to both the DTO and the SLRSA Head of Station for their diligence and commitment to road safety. He lauded the harmonious relationship between the two bodies and pledged his support to the Traffic Management Team.
