To ease transportation difficulties in the Western Area Rural District, Chairman Kasho J. Holland Cole, district council chairman of the Western Area Rural District, has pronounced that his council will procure twenty (20) (35 seater) buses for the people of the Western Area Rural District.
Chairman Holland Cole made the pronouncement in WARDC FY2022 bilateral budget discussions in the Conference Hall of the Western Area Rural District Council.
He added that he ran for the chairmanship of WARDC to seek the welfare of the people and to enhance service delivery.
Chairman Cole furthered that people residing in the Western Area Rural District have been suffering transportation difficulties in the district for a long period now.
“So as the political leader of the district, I want to salvage transportation problem in the district.”
Chairman Holland-Cole disclosed that his council will send three (3) staff to People’s Republic of China before the end of the year 2021 to visit companies that will help to get the district customized and strong 35 seater buses for the people of the Western Area Rural District.
The buses will greatly help to salvage the transportation problem in the district and they are expected to be in Sierra Leone early next year -2022.
