Recent report from the Waterloo Police Division reveals a harrowing event where a 47-year-old notorious witch Doctor was arrested and taken into custody at the Newton (4 Mile) Police Post, Waterloo Police Division.

The incident occurred on early Sunday the 5th of November, 2023, after the said witch/native doctor was caught burying charms in graves at the Mabron Village cemetery in Waterloo.

The 47-year-old was identified by the police as Alusine Kamara. Two of his accomplices, Mohamed Kamara and Abu Bakarr Kargbo, residents of the Mabron Village and Tombo vicinity respectively, were also arrested and taken into Police custody.

The incident caught the attention of the newly elected Village Head of Mabron, Hassan Conteh, who reacted happily to the news.

According to him, he has been “having sleepless nights” since he was elected Village Head of Mabron a week ago.

He appealed to the Waterloo Police to speedily investigate the matter and brought to book all those involved in sorcery activities in his village.
