Zainab Sheriff, a member of the All People’s Congress (APC) and Chairperson of the “Wi Duti” Organization, has been formally charged and presented before the court after spending three days in police detention.

Sources confirmed that Sheriff appeared before the Magistrate Court on Pademba Road in Freetown following 72 hours in custody over allegations of threatening language, incitement, and other related offences.

According to information from sources familiar with the matter, Sheriff was detained by the police in connection with the alleged offences and remained in custody for three days before being formally charged. She is now answering to the charges before the Magistrate Court.
