Legendary rapper and CEO of WAF Entertainment, Algassimu Jarr, popularly known as Shadow Boxxer, drops a freestyle titled “Birthday Cake” as a celebration of reaching the age of 50.
The rapper compliments his achievements and also throws light on the successes and challenges in the Sierra Leone entertainment industry. Shadow Boxxer also highlighted the random comparisons made by fans among artists and the disrespectful comments made by fans on Facebook posts.
The CEO named rappers like Drizilik, Samza, Kracktwist, and Natasha Beckley, and considered them to be better versions of him. The legendary rapper commended Drizilik for shutting down shows in foreign countries and cautioned people to share good news instead of focusing on the negative ones.
“Birthday Cake” is full of bars and stray bullets for the fans and critics. With a hardcore and dope beat, Shadow Boxxer still let the fans know that at the age of 50, he can still rap and flow on any beat.
