Sierra Leone recorded 53 new cases of Mpox as of Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 3:00 PM, according to the latest update from the Government of Sierra Leone.

The country also reported a significant number of recoveries, with 74 new individuals recovering from the virus.

The cumulative number of confirmed Mpox cases in Sierra Leone now stands at 4151. Of these, 3442 individuals have fully recovered, bringing the total number of active cases to 684. The death toll from Mpox remains at 25.

Geographically, the Western Urban district continues to report the highest number of confirmed cases with 2425, followed by Western Rural with 829. Other districts reporting cases include:
