The African Diplomatic Corps in Turkiye -ADC, has bade farewell to His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba, and has honored his diligent service to the organization, after the end of his tour of duty in Turkiye.
His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba served as the first Ambassador and Head of Mission in Turkiye from March 2020 to September 2024. During his leadership, Trade Volume between Sierra Leone and Turkiye rose from US$157.79 Million in 2022 to over US$200.00 Million in 2024.
Remembering the work they did together, the Head of the ADC, who is also the Ambassador of the Republic of South Sudan to Turkiye, His Excellency Majok Guandong described Ambassador Kaisamba as a diligent personality, who he said contributed immensely towards not only fostering diplomatic relationship between Sierra Leone and Turkiye, but also to the ADC, and the development of the common African Agenda.
“Ambassador Kaisamba was active and very resourceful to the work of the ADC. Thank you for your service, Your Excellency. We will surely miss you” he concluded.
In a short but very inspiring message to the gathering, His Excellency Ambassador Mohamed Hassan Kaisamba thanked the leadership of the ADC, saying that working with such a dedicated team of diplomats, what they did for the African continent, depicted bright hope for the future generation.
“As I have been reassigned to head our Mission in Accra, Ghana, I leave with great optimism that the ADC will work with his successor, to continue to position Africa in Turkiye. Thank you all and God bless you”, Ambassador Kaisamba noted.
