As part of its CSR efforts, AI Networks has provided internet access to Government Model Secondary School, aiming to improve digital learning and connectivity.
The donation was made on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at the school premises in Freetown.
Staff member of AI Networks, Madam Willete Lewis highlighted the importance of reliable internet, describing it as “not just a tool, but a bridge to knowledge, innovation, and growth.”
She added that the company is committed to empowering communities by providing access to quality and affordable internet, and that today’s donation reflects the belief that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, explore, and succeed in an increasingly digital world.

The CEO of AI Networks, Rev. Engineer Alvin Emerson-Thomas. spoke about the significance of providing internet access to students. He explained that the company aims to create avenues for young people to access knowledge and discover ways to become better versions of themselves.
Celebrating ten years of service, the CEO emphasized AI Network’s growth into a nationwide network and its status as a fully Sierra Leonean company.
“It is rare to see a homegrown company last ten years,” he said. “Our students are the hope of our country. We have faced challenges, but we have made the most of what we have without complaining. Together, Sierra Leone will be a better place.”
The school’s SSS principal welcomed AI Network officials and shared how the donation would transform school operations.

“Thanks to AI Network, we are moving from paper-based systems to digital processes for preparing results and entering grades. Teachers are now using biometrics, and our student portal and library, including past exam questions, will greatly support learning,” the principal noted.
The JSS principal also expressed gratitude to the CEO, highlighting how the internet facility would save teachers from spending personal money on data and improve teaching and learning.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the head boy of JSS, who, on behalf of the student body, thanked AI Network for their investment in education and wished the company continued success.
