Air Senegal started to serve Washington/Baltimore (BWI) and New York since September 2nd 2021.The carrier has been maintaining its original two weekly flights to USA effectively since Thursday 2nd September 2021 using the Airbus A330-900Neo.
Over operarional constraints the flight faces in New-York, flights from Baltimore/New-York to Dakar have been affected and suffered several disruptions. This has cause some fight delays as a result of operational constraints.
On September 2nd, 2021, Air Sénégal inaugurated Dakar to JFK and Baltimore. A year later, it was confirmed that Baltimore would end, perhaps an inevitable consequence. It was initially to serve Dulles but switched to Baltimore a few days before starting.
As a result of these constraints, Air Senegal has announced the reschedule of its flights from Baltimore/New-York to Dakarr and from Dakarr to New-York.
According to the press notice,
1. Flight SZN408 Baltimore-New-York: Departure 11:00pm – Arrival 12:30am
2. New-York-Dakar: Departure 02:30am – Arrival 15:30LT
As is undoubtedly certain that passengers are constraint to this current situation to reach their destinations, Air Senegal extended their heartfelt apologies for the inconveniences caused to all passengers affected by this quick situation.
Air Senegal continued to encourage its dearest customers to excercise patience as the flight will will be ready on the rescheduled dates henceforth.
