The Transitional Interim Independent Elections Management Committee (TIIMEC) of the All People’s Congress (APC) has been mandated to conduct the flagbearer and elective election by 25th February 2023.
It could be recalled that High Court Judge, Justice Adrien Fisher last week granted the extension application by TIIEMC to conduct lower level elections and National delegates elections.
This ruling also mean the APC committee will now have to conduct the pending elections – the eight ward elections in Kono district including the five petitions previously upheld by the Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC)
The All People’s Congress as the main opposition party flagbearer’s decision will determine who goes head to head with President Julius Maada Bio in the June 24 general elections.
