The All People’s Congress APC has expressed profound gratitude to party members, supporters, and the general public for the overwhelming solidarity shown during the funeral ceremonies of its late National Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray.

In a public notice dated Monday, June 23, 2026 and signed by National Secretary General Lansana Dumbuya, Esq., the party described the mass turnout and support as a powerful demonstration of the love, respect, and admiration that the late chairman commanded throughout his life.

The APC said the unity displayed from the reception of his remains in Sierra Leone, through the Laying-Out Ceremony at the National Secretariat, the Lying-in-State at Parliament, the Civic Laying-Out at Freetown City Council, the Janaza prayers, and the final interment at Kingtom Cemetery reflected the spirit of comradeship the party stands for.

The party extended special appreciation to the family of the late chairman, government officials, Members of Parliament, traditional authorities, religious leaders, the diplomatic community, security personnel, civil society organizations, the media, and citizens who stood with the APC during the period of mourning.

The APC noted that contributions made financially, morally, spiritually, and physically were critical to the successful organization of the funeral activities.

While thanking the public, the APC also called on members and supporters to maintain the same commitment, unity, and solidarity during the funeral ceremonies of its late distinguished stalwart and former Minister, Hon. Lucinda Finda Kellie.

The party urged all members to once again come together as one APC family to honour her life, service, and invaluable contribution to both the party and the nation.

The APC reaffirmed its pride in the resilience and values demonstrated by its members and concluded with prayers that the souls of Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray and Hon. Lucinda Finda Kellie rest in perfect peace.
