All People’s Congress (APC) politician, Alhaji Ibrahim Kemoh Sesay a former presidential flagbearer aspirant has criticized the actions of the APC National Executive Committee.

He started by saying he is addressing the APC executive and refered them to article 2j of the party new constitution which says they should secure power through democratic means, adding that it the executive first responsibility.

He said he bring up the reference to know their role and anything against it is anti-party activity.

He said after the June 2023 election, the APC executive said they won the election during a NAC meeting at their party office in freetown.

He also said the party held another meeting in Port Loko where they agreed to boycut all government activities as a way of staying out of violence, stating that he was the person write the motion and was first move by Abdul Kargbo and was later agreed upon by all which they succeeded at.

He also mentioned that after a while President Bio initiated a conversation with the APC chairman and former flagbearer of APC Samura Kamara which he attended and relay their conversation to his party executive wherein they requested for a dialogue and the government agreed upon which bring about the Tripartite Committee.

He disclosed that during the Tripartite Committee engagement, the APC recommended a re-run of the 2023 election. He said he was later confused when he heard from the APC executive that there is no need for a re-run election.

He said Samura Kamara did a great job by not stoping the APC supporters to participate in the election because it would have lead to a one party state. He also said the APC executive accused Samura Kamara of meeting with President Bio without their knowledge, adding that but he explain the them the outcome of their meeting which led to the tripartite committee which is describe as a good thing.

He said the APC executive requested Samura Kamara to lead a protest which he decline stating that he don’t want anyone to loose their lives because he want power.

He said during a NAC meeting he requested a peaceful march to President Bio and requested for the election results but it was declined.

He said he has come to a conclusion that the APC executive don’t want Samura Kamara in the party and they hate him to the expense of the people, calling on them to stop.

He said the APC executive is deceiving the people of Sierra Leone and asked that they stop.
