Areej Zahid has emerged as the top student in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for the 2023/2024 academic year, showcasing remarkable academic prowess with an impressive score of 6 As and 2 Bs.
Areej, a dedicated pupil of Naiahcom Elementary and High School, achieved the highest grades in several challenging subjects. Her outstanding results include A1 in Further Mathematics, General Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Core Science, and Engineering Science. Additionally, she scored B3 in both Physics and English Language.
The Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in the educational community are expected to recognize her achievement, which reflects positively on the educational standards in the country
