The Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire has issued a disclaimer regarding one Ibrahim Abubakarr Kamara, whose identification card is currently being circulated on social media in connection with an alleged drug-related incident.
AYV clarified that Kamara is not a staff member or employee of the Media Empire. “We also wish to clarify that the ID card being displayed is not an official AYV staff ID card,” the statement said.
According to AYV records, Kamara participated in the AYV Academy Fellowship Program in 2021 but left at the end of that year.
The Media Empire emphasized that participation in the program does not confer employment status or permanent affiliation with the institution.
AYV Media Empire further disassociated itself from Kamara and the incident in question, reiterating its commitment to professionalism and integrity.
“We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity,” the statement added.
