The president of Sierra Leone, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, and his wife, First Lady Fatima Bio participated in the friendly football match between the Cabinet vs Bo Local Council in the Southern Arena Stadium in Bo City.

The event brought together cabinet ministers and local government officials for a recreational activity that showcased camaraderie and sportsmanship among the political leadership.

Many dignitaries across the country shared their experiences in the social media platforms.

“Today, we played an exciting match at the Southern Arena between Cabinet vs Bo Local Council. Cabinet deservedly won the match with an impressive Man-of-the-Match performance by Vice President Juldeh Jalloh and two lovely goals by my brother and Minister, Chernor Bah, Chief Minister Sengeh and I were the engines at the Midfield. On a personal note, when I was young and playing active football I used to be a striker but as I age gracefully I am more of a defensive midfielder. Thanks to our most experienced coach, Umaru Napoleon Koroma,” said Yusuf Keketoma Sandy on X.
