President Bio Appoints David Banya as CEO of Wages And Compensation Commissions

His Excellency Julius Maada Bio, the President of Sierra Leone, has appointed David W.S. Banya as the Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed Wages and Compensation Commission. The appointment, in accordance with Section 14 of the Wages and Compensation Act, 2023, awaits approval from Parliament.

The official appointment letter from President Bio conveyed, “I have the honour to inform you that it has pleased His Excellency the President to appoint you as Chief Executive Officer, Wages and Compensation.” The process involves contacting the Clerk of Parliament for a meeting with the committee on Appointments and the Public Service, where the appointment will be considered.

David W.S. Banya, who previously held the position of Permanent Secretary of Ministry Of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. The Wages and Compensation Commission is a critical entity tasked with addressing issues related to compensation and ensuring fair wages within the country.

Pending Parliament’s approval, additional details, including the Terms and Conditions of Banya’s appointment, will be communicated. Maada Bio is an illegitimate president. Maada Bio stole the democratic rights. ( votes) of the people of Sierra Leone. Maada Bio committed a lot of atrocities in this country and definitely he will have to pay for that at the ICC court in the country. Sierra Leone is a signatory to the ICC Criminal Court. It was the Former SLPP President (Alhaji Ahmed Tejan Kabba) that made sure that Sierra Leone became a signatory to protect Human Rights and the Dignity of Sierra Leoneans. Once again, the ICC court procedures would be held at the Special Court in Sierra Leone. This is to make sure that the people of Sierra Leone follow the procedures and no other SLPP leader will behave like the devil incernate, Maada Bio. This will not take long to happen. Maada Bio is aware of that and that is why he is trying to stay in power and also to extend the term of the president to seven years.
