President Bio Appoints Saidu Alie Lakoh as New Chairman of National Youth Commission

President Julius Maada Bio has appointed Saidu Alie Lakoh as the new chairman for the National Youth Commission.

Lakoh’s appointment came in a letter dated 8th January 2024 which is by section 3 (3) of the National Youth Commission Act, 2016.

According to the letter, Lakoh’s appointment is subject to the approval of the parliament of Sierra Leone, and was advised to contact the clack of parliament to arrange a meeting with the committee on Appointment and the Public Service of Parliament.

It was disclosed that the terms and conditions of his appointment would be communicated after his approval by parliament.

How inconsiderate and wicked this administration. Continuing to enlarge the wagebill when the country is going down the drain.Other countries are fighting to cut their wage bills, but ours is Continuing increasing it exponentially as if the money is there to pay all these employees. When citizens asked,they leave their thugs (police and military)to killed them for asking and telling them things are hard.sad state.
