President Dr. Julius Maada Bio held a productive meeting with Dr. George Agyekum Donkor, the President and Board Chairman of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development, at State House on Monday, July 14th, 2025.
The high-level meeting focused on potential collaborations aimed at enhancing economic development in the subregion.
President Bio expressed his eagerness to explore various development initiatives that could significantly contribute to the economic growth of Sierra Leone and its neighboring countries.
“We are eager to explore and collaborate on various development initiatives that will contribute to enhancing the economy of our subregion,” he stated.
The meeting notably reflects the importance of trust in managing economic affairs, with President Bio thanking Dr. Donkor for his confidence in the government’s approach.
“Thank you for your trust in our responsible management of the economy,” he added.
