President Julius Maada Bio has appointed Dr. Floyd A. Davies as acting Director General for the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority.

Davies was the Deputy Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority until his appointment through a letter dated 8th September 2023.

According to his appointment letter, Davies is required to act as the Director General of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority until Sierra Leone parliament approves Madam Musayeroh Barrie who was recently appointed by President Bio and waiting for Parliamentary approval.
