Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio has received the new directors of the Sierra Leone Bar Association headed by the elected President, Md. Tuma Adama Gento-Kamara.
President Bio underscored the importance of the association in national development devoid of national politics and congratulated them upon their success in emerging as the authorities overseeing the affairs of the association for the time being.
“Today, I received the new directors of the Sierra Leone Bar Association under the leadership of Tuma Adama Gento-Kamara at State House. I underscored the importance of professional bodies maintaining their independence from national politics.” He stated.
President Bio furthered that, they can work together in promoting justice delivery in the country as he is open to constructive engagement that is focused and would push forward national development.
“Through cooperation and collaboration, we can work together to promote the delivery of justice in our nation. I look forward to constructive engagement on national issues.
