The President of Sierra Leone, Dr. Julius Maada Bio, met with His Highness Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah of Kuwait on the margins of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, to discuss ways of deepening economic cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, President Bio received warm greetings from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, conveyed through the Crown Prince. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations across multiple sectors.

The Crown Prince was accompanied by Kuwait’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Tareq Al-Banai, the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Amiri Diwan, Mazen Al-Issa, and Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to stronger collaboration and the preservation of longstanding diplomatic ties.
